Healing Identity and

Reclaiming Our Sovereignty

6-Week Program

A 6-Week Immersive & Mentorship Program Series focused on Identity & Reclamation work grounded in an anti-oppressive and healing justice approach to individual and collective liberation.

***COHORT IN PROGRESS. REGISTRATION CURRENTLY CLOSED***

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Unpacking Identity as anti-oppressive and liberation work. It is at the core of reclaiming the sovereignty and full expression of our whole selves. For BIPOC, this is an inherently political and spiritual act that reconnects us with our power. It is a revolutionary process that affirms our dignity and humanity unapologetically.

This 6-week program series will provide a container for self inquiry and exploration, thoughtful & compassionate expression, mentorship and dialogue. The goal of the series is to create ripples of radical change deep within each & every participant that will reverberate & expand into the collective.

This 6-week series is open to all Black Indigenous and People of Color, all identities are welcome. There will be a maximum of 8 participants to allow for a container where self expression is prioritized and all can witness each other freely and in a relaxed environment. There are 3 weeks of material, content and learnings plus 3 weeks that will be used for mentorship, more discussion, and integration of the work. The program offers a sliding scale & payment plan.

About Program Creator & Facilitator

Q&A Section

I want to attend but I am not sure if I can be available for all 6 weeks of the program. What can I do?

I completely understand that life happens and there are many competing responsibilities we are all have. If you have to miss 1 or 2 sessions, we can make arrangements for you to get the content, any reflection/journaling prompts, and I can provide a quick recap of the material.

Which price tier should I choose?

This is up to you and your financial situation. This sliding scale is on an honor system where you determine what is right for you based on the level of your disposable income. If you have financial support systems, earning income, and enjoy privileges based on your social location, you should pay the full price. If you don’t count with such financial supports you should pay mid or low tier.

Can I make payments & pay using Venmo, PayPal or Zelle?

Yes, you absolutely can make payments of 3-4 depending on your needs. And yes - you can using any of the above. Please reach out so that I can set you up with a plan that fits your needs. You can email me at cristina@shegrowswegrow.com

I identify as queer/gender non-conforming/non-binary and am a BIPOC, can I attend?

Yes, all identities are welcome and can attend if you are a Black Indigenous Person of Color.

Will this be a safe space?

Safety, mutual respect, and accountability are my main priorities whenever I facilitate any group and engage any people in any kind of discussion. While there is never a guarantee that any space will be entirely “safe”, safety is created by the members of the group in accordance to the community agreements we set collectively. This is an integral part of the spaces I create.

I am mostly interested in a one on one mentorship approach. Do you offer that?

Yes I do. I have 2 - 6-month mentorship programs where we meet weekly. Please email me at cristina@shegrowswegrow.com for more information or you can set up a time to talk on my calendar https://calendly.com/cristina-garcia-2/30min?month=2021-06
